Early Start October News
October was a very productive month in Early Start as the children became more settled and enjoyed partaking in more challenging activities after a hectic September! All the children embraced the school routine and took part in circle time where they learned about autumn, sang songs about the Iora Rua and moulded clay hedgehogs.
Towards the end of the month we were delighted to welcome some of our parents back into the classroom (following a successful visit for some painting at the end of September) to read some spooky Halloween stories to the pupils. The children took great pleasure in returning the favour by frightening everyone who came into the room with their scary Halloween songs and rhymes. On the day of the mid term the children took this to the next level by dressing up and having a Halloween party in school to celebrate the holidays and all involved won a special prize on the day in the raffle that our parents so generously supported!
