Extra Curricular Activities

Scoil Aiséirí Chríost endeavours to provide an all round education for its pupils and following in the strong musical tradition of the Northside of Cork City singing is very much to the fore in the school. Games are also very much to the fore with camogie, basketball, volleybally, swimming and athletics proving very popular with our students. An after school HomeWork club gives children the opportunity to do homework in a structured environment conducive to learning.

The School Choir regularly showcases its excellence by performing at Feis Maitiú, Cór Fhéile na Scól, UCC, Carol Services and other special occasions such as visits by dignitaries.

Both teams readh the finals on each day and were unfortunalte to get beaten bay a very narrow margin. The girls were give high praise by the organisers of the tournaments as it was the first year our school compete in this event, which included teams from all over the city and county. The school and the coaches are really proud of everyone involved. Well done ladies!
